If you could only play three genres, what would they be?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Fighters - I love the challenge of going one on one, mano y mano, and being able to overcome the opponent. Fighters are wonderful, because you can play for all of 99 seconds, and you've played the game(perfect for a quick round between class or before work starts), or you can sit and devote a few hours to understanding the system, learning its intricacies and timing.

Horror - Me against my worst nightmares. This genre doesn't just challenge the protagonist, it challenges me, really bringing me into the game. These games tend to completely absorb me, forcing me to really struggle with something as simple as progressing into the next room. Yet the payoff is worth it in the end.

First Person Shooters - One man against an army, or as part of an army. I love the action, and I love having to think tactically but also instinctively while helping my squadmates capture a flag or annihilating all opposition in front of me. I'm big on multiplayer in this genre, and sometimes FPS games can just be so goofy it's impossible not to love them in a crowd.

After this, I'd put RPGs.

Platformers
Sports
Action/Adventure

I never could get into rpg's, something about the turned based combat just didn't do it for me. I like games like Zelda, but I'd put that in the Action/Adventure category myself.
