Dang, I can't believe Clock Tower got mentioned before I had a chance to.
Oh well.
My pick is Hellnight then.
Scary Games

If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.
Re: Scary Games
I really don't like scary movies, my wife loves them, but I won't watch them with her because pretty much they scare me. I guess I'm a wuss, but I've always enjoyed scary videogames for some reason. Maybe because I am controlling the character and not just watching someone getting in harms way.
One of my favorite gaming moments came while playing the first Silent Hill. I was in college(like most of my favorite moments to do with anything)playing it while two of my roomates were just sitting there watching me. Well, I'm in some sort of lockerroom and I go to open a locker, the perfect setup for something to jump out of it, or some sort body part to be in the locker. Well, I open it and nothing, everyone breathes a sigh of relief and all of a sudden a cat jumps out of nowhere in the game and we all jump. It was the perfect setup. I haven't played any of the Silent Hills past the 2nd after I beat the game and missed some achievement, so the main character commits suicide in the ending I got and it just pissed me off. I survived the whole game only to kill myself?
From what I'm reading I might have to give Eternal Darkness another chance. I remember playing it when it first came out and not being able to get into it though.

Re: Scary Games
best thread. Anyway, I've said this so many times: A Nightmare On Elm Street (NES) is one of my absolute favorite games of all time. The gameplay, the levels, the MUSIC! All so great.
Re: Scary Games
Character kills him/herself in silent hill games for bad endings? wow. harsh.

Not to push my inventory or anything, but there's a great video mixtape that features clips from ONLY Turkish remakes, like Star Trek, The Exorcist, Star Wars (which I've seen the whole thing, and it's very, very impressive), Deathwish, Rambo, Wizard of Oz, etc. Great tape.

Ok, ok, it's just since Pakistan and Turkey are so close to Arab nations, we often consider them part of it, though mainly on its fringe. I won't make the mistake again though. Sorry about that.kingmohd84 wrote:Turkey and Pakistan is NOT my homeland, they are not even connected to the Arab world...I know most of you probably will say ghosts do not exist, but if they do not , then its a fun story to tell. If you believe in them, then its one scary movie.
And that actually sounds like a pretty interesting film. Could I get the title and year of release? I'd like to track it down if you don't mind.

I'm a scaredy cat. Being scarred is the worst feeling IMO. I mean, I think going through sewers in Fallout 3 is scary. Back when I was real little I was freaked out by Chrono Trigger. No lie.
