Hi everyone!
Recently I started to search for a Docking Station to properly work with my Laptop (Acer VX5).
As far as I Know, acer doesn't produce any of these accessories for it's gaming computers.
I'm wondering if the ones I selected are just compatible with their manufacturers.
The cheapest one is from HP and provides an extra VGA and HDMI port (that's what I want to avoid multiple daily connections).
Can someone please help me with this? If the cheapest one is compatible with my computer, then it will be my choice. If I have to go to another one (more expenisve), it should have at least one more video out port.
I live in Portugal and I want to buy it from Portuguese stores, I've started my search online and found this website which gathers some offers. (I leave the link below with my selection)
I'm inclined to get the cheapest one (if it works, it's enough).
Feel free to suggest any other store or docking station that isn't listed in my link.
Thank you.

Compatible Docking Station with my Acer VX5
Re: Compatible Docking Station with my Acer VX5
What you tend to need to be more concerned with is what the port on your computer actually supports. You may want to check the manual or other specs for your computer. The manual for what I believe is the US version seems to indicate that the USB-C port on your machine is pretty limited. What it looks like to me is that your machine doesn't support charging or video output from that port, so functionality from a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 dock would be limited regardless of the manufacturer.
