I just bought this game two days ago, so I haven't made too much progress, but I already like it and I usually don't care for the choose-your-own-adventure style games. That style really fits with the story of this game though. In Indigo Prophecy you play both the murderer and the cops tracking him down. You have to think quick as a the murderer because you need to cover your tracks and make sure you don't leave evidence that would allow them to catch you. Through split screen, you can see that cops are on their way and you don't have much time which adds to the tension. When it splits to the cops, you have to make choices that will cleverly piece together the case and allow the cops to figure out what you already know about the killer (since you just played as him in the previous scene).

It's very original and it works well enough, though there were times when I got frustrated just bumbling around hoping I would find a clue. On the whole though, it has a nice style and a great concept. I mean, who hasn't watched a show like CSI and both wondered if they could either kill and get away with it, or find a killer with just a few clues. In this game you get to do both.

I'm half way through this on the Xbox. I'm stuck at the damn helicopter. No matter what I do I fall off. Incredibly frustrating.
