Joining mostly to sell off my old collection, been gaming for over 2 decades now but times change and I have little need for a collection like I have unfortunately. Known about this forum for a while due to a friend (might be on here as his usual name S74Rshaped?) so it was the first place I turned with that in mind.

I am 28 year old male who likes long walks on the beach and candlelight gaming. Besides being an obvious idiot, I am in a phase of not replaying older retro games from my childhood, but rather playing retro games I have never tried. Its like Christmas morning everyday.

I enjoy 2D platformers, beat em ups, JRPGs and turn based strategy games the most. I have recently started playing shooters, a genre I had always scoffed at in the past. Glad I stopped being ignorant, because I have added a few games to my all time favorites list by finally exploring the genre.

My favorite game ever is Donkey Kong Country 2, probably heavily due to nostalgia, but it is awesome.

I also run a retro gaming site that no one visits, but I would suggest doing this if I were you. Its very rewarding and fun just to put your thoughts out there. It also adds another level to my enjoyment of games.

I have been using racketboy for years to find "new" games to play and feel like I have to stop being a weird lurker.
