I would rather them wait on a fresh new guy who looks like he'd be a great talent and they know they could trust him to not high tail it out with a movie career and let him end the streak or something or simply let Taker leave with the streak.

HBK has nothing to gain from ending Undertaker's streak, in the end, it's not that beneficial to HBK and it makes Undertaker look weaker than him. HBK is already an established Legend Mega Star guy. At this point in his career (Much like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and others), it doesn't matter who he loses to or much he loses.

I haven't watched in nearly 8 years, but I was always a big fan of mick foley's personas.

I still have my sting headband from being a tot at a local high school auditorium. Rick Flair's son wrestled locally, and Rick happens to be a regular at Carolina football games.

I was really into degeneration X when I was in middle school. I preferred the road dog to billy gunn, especially when he became ass man.

Whoever has HDNet do yourself a HUGE favor and watch ROH Wrestling, it will reignite your love for wrestling.

Jerry Lynn is the current champion, after winning the title Wrestlemania weekend.

This is the fed CM Punk & Samoa Joe became a star in, and is home to the best pure wrestler on the planet Bryan Danielson.

I just don't really have the time for TNA. Nothing against it and I have heard great things about ROH on the net. Again though, it's tough enough keeping up with WWE programming. I'll probably regret not checking out the other wrestling feds one day though. I still kick myself for missing out on ECW's glory days, especially considering what a mockery the WWE has made of the name

I never seen the older ECW shows either,I couldn't find out when it was on.I agree with you with the WWE ruining the name, the show is far from hardcore.TNA was more hardcore especially around 2005.I don't really like the new ECW show its kinda boring most of the time.

You're not wrong, and I respect Mark Calaway(Taker's real name for anyone who doesn't know), but I'm sick of the "Deadman" gimmick and I think ending the streak would pretty much end that gimmick. It's ridiculous how everyone is suppossed to buy into the idea of this guy being dead and having supernatural powers in 2009. He talks about taking people's souls and taking them to hell and a month or two later they pop up on tv just fine(I'm thinking of Edge and Vickie in particular). Fine for eighties WWF, when the demo was clearly kids, but not now

What I loved about the buildup to the Shawn Michaels/Undertaker match was that Shawn Michaels was essentially calling him out on all his bullshit. He made a mockery of ALL of the Undertakers usual magic tricks and mind games. It was such an AWESOME way to build up the feud. No one had ever been so brazen. Of course after seeing Undertaker PAWNED every week, I had little faith in Michaels actually winning the match at Mania. I had hoped I would be wrong, but that's typical WWE booking. If you look too strong going in. you're not going to win except in rare cases. And after everything Michaels had done, there would be no saving face for Taker if he lost. He'd have looked like a fool

I cant get into wrestling anymore. The shows are so awful.. anyway, here are my all-time favs

1) Hulk Hogan - Seriously, anyone who watched this garbage in the 80s and early 90s loved the guy. I even loved to hate him when he went Hollywood until I stopped watching wrestling.

2) Ultimate Warrior - You never knew when he was gonna be around. He was f'in nuts though

3) Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake - For some reason I loved when he came out with the hedge clippers. didnt like his later characters at all

4) Jake "The Snake" Roberts - loved this guy for a while, he got lame near the end of his career.

5) Marty Janettey - During the "Rocker" years he was awesome, and "The Rockers" were my fave team by far. I like him so much more than Shawn Michaels, but he wasnt the one who got famous.
