While nice, that's not a unique feature. The Wii U and Xbox can do that.

NS is a nice system but for me it still seems like a version 1.0 product. In 2 years the NEW Switch will be a better buy.
My kids use off tv play all the time playing on the gamepad while someone else is watching tv.

Just bought a xenoblade 2 pro controller, since I found it on discount and I was afraid they would be sold out by the time I actually bought a switch. Though now I do have a controller for a console that I don't own  . At least it gives me an excuse to buy Mario Kart together with Super Mario Odessy when I buy a switch :P

Been rocking Mario Rabbids on and off for the last month, got through the first two worlds almost completely (cant complete a few challenges yet). Rocking Rabbid Peach and Peach currently. Peach replaced Luigi for world three so far, since the grenades are useful, but the lack of a second drone is starting to be a problem.

Oh man! Team composition is a big deal. I primarily used rabbid peach and Luigi exclusively because I could combo off their overwatch mode to kill an enemy instantly and get some extra hits on other enemies all outside of their turn. It was super destructive. Again, the fun is that everyone has a preference and they are all viable, especially since you can respec with no penalty!

My all-star team was Mario, Luigi, and Rabbid Yoshi.

Nintendo Switch Direct Mini/announcement today. 10pm GMT.

Apparently not to do with games, but a new feature and/or accessory that is aimed at younger audiences or those young at heart and aims to further future proof the console.

Any ideas?

This is Nintendo, so, the more likely thing is a "kid-proof" case kinda like the Amazon Fire has. Only, like, Kirby themed or something.

HA! I was going to say the same thing except I imagined it as a big yellow Pikachu one.
