Except for Volume 4.
Volume four is right there on the shelf, it's the brown box that has the Gotham Knights (AKA series 2) style artwork. Trust me I harassed my mom for that endlessly and got it a few weeks after it came out in '05 for X-mas with the limited edition litho cell included.
I was saying that you DONT get bonus points for vol 4. That's when the show went all budget minded with the animation, the music lost all emotion, and the writing sucked.

My favorite part was the homemade ashtray. I remember making an ashtray for my dad in elementary school. They don't do class projects like that anymore.

Nice

That's an amazing collectiion and anyone who owns the complete series of Invader Zim is cool in my book. Although I do see a significant lack of the bonus disk. (I don't blame you, it's expensive. It took me forever to find one for cheap)

While I do agree that it did have a sub-par feeling when compared to the original episodes, I also think that it is an acceptable evil due to the fact that it matched Superman Tas animation style, continuity and allowed for the DCAU to be created resulting in Batman Beyond, and Justice League (which were two of the best tv shows ever). Other than that Kids WB also gave Timm a meager budget when compared to the original series, so I think it came out ok given the limited financial resources they had to work with.

Another thing to remember was that at the time (1997-1998) the anti-violence parent groups began gaining ground against tv execs. over content in programming, so I find it kinda amazing that they even got to show and discuss a lot of the things they did; things such as real guns (none of that laser crap), paranoid schizophrenics, suicidal maniacs, and nuclear and biochemical warfare.

Batman Beyond was alright, with the movie being fantastic just because of mark hamill's return. I never much liked Superman TAS, but the Batman/Superman crossover made-for-tv movie almost convinced me to give it a second shot. I just dont care for superman in general.

Superman isn't anywhere as cool as Batman, but at $15 a piece the three box sets were worth it.

Cool stuff, man. I had that exact same Samsung TV until recently. Used it for 11 years. Great set for gaming.
