The Wii U Pro Controller laster about 80 hours between charges, whilst the Switch Pro Controller I'd estimate lasts around 50 hours. I might be a bit off, as I'm just guessing, but I definitely have to charge it more than I did when I was playing the Wii U (but still not often).

I'm just being pedantic though really, as it's still awesome compared to most wireless controllers (*cough* dualshock 4 *cough*).
Switch pro lasts 40 hours but it has more in it. Rumble (which I always turn off in all controllers personally) full motion controls and NFC reader. Also much better build than the Wii U pro controller. I think it might be my favorite modern controller ever and 3rd or 4th of any controller I've ever used.

It is amazing, but at this point in life close to 30 years of gaming, the varied placement of X, B, and Y across different controllers is destroying me. Making these Xenoblade 2 salvaging QTE's way harder than they should be.

I try to think back to the SNES layout but I think the full black color of the Switch Pro throws me off for the buttons.

I was looking at Nights as it looks great, problem is I'd do some research on the double clock mechanic. You have both a time frame until you fail a mission (over a full moon phase) but also another where you must return to the hotel(starting hub) or you die too and then waste more time sleeping off the daylight. That put me off buying it the more I read into it, but if that doesn't annoy go for it.

At $40 that Supersonic music game looks solid. Stern Pinball is a great selection of tables too.

Reprise - I'm kind of there on that whole Xenoblade too. I had the 3DS one but it got to be such a boring slog with some serious backtrack annoyances I just got tired of it around 40 hours in and let it sit for a good year or so before I sold it. I didn't hate it, it was nice, but it got boring so I can't see paying $60 on a game I have no chance of going far into.

Doom though I'm with you entirely. Unlike you I have it on PC so it blows out the PS4 version, yet after getting it on Switch I realized a few things. It doesn't look or handle that much worse as you noticed. But for me it plays better. The game was clearly designed not for a mouse and keyboard but a gamepad which your PS4 version uses. I can control my marine better on the Switch controller than the twitchy mouse/keyboard setup it I'm certain wasn't designed around to start. This is a console DOOM experience more than a computer one and for me it feels that much. Yes it's not quite as pretty with the less detail in the farther distance and dumbed down lighting effects again more than less in the distance. I don't have a care over it being 720p at most or not, it looks great still, FPS hiccup here or there aside is still smooth, and key it plays fantastic. It gives good hopes that Wolfenstein II will pop out in even a little bit better shape since they learned on Doom as it's the same team.

Sorry to DP but seems Earthlock is coming to Switch except as the definitive version. Totally reworked, even the story is being redone. Has anyone played it? Was it full of issues?

Mario Rabbids is insane. It really is a movement based tactical rpg.

Been playing this a ton over break, I got it for Christmas. I'm on World 2.8, loving every minute.

I am right behind you in the storyline. But I went back and tried to clear every bonus mission in World 1.

Glad you guys are loving it. I absolutely adored my play through of it. Just as a heads up, there may be some burn out mid game, let it sit for a week and come back if that happens and you will be rewarded greatly. I say this, because many others, including myself came across that slump. It had nothing to do with the game, just a weird psychological burn out. Maybe it was because we all played it during its launch and had just had too many awesome switch games to play.
