Killer Instinct is a seriously good fighting game. I'd play it a lot more if my internet wasn't poop. It has lots of good single player modes if fighting online isn't your thing.

as someone who did not back it and instead got it for free, I'm not nearly as bitter as you about it. So even if it's bad - I'm interested to play it to see for myself. And like I previously mentioned, the recent announcement of MM11 has me even more interested in seeing how big a train wreck this really is.

I did play *a bit* of this when it first came out, but only the demo so I've not seen much of the roster. I'd generally be playing the single player stuff until I felt like I had the hang of the roster. But that said, fighting games are usually something I'd only play online w/ friends.

Personally, I'd go KI.

Barring that, at least trying out MN9 isn't a bad idea. It's not as bad as folks say, but there are definitely very bad moments in the game. I think I gave it like a 5.5, slightly above average in the end.

Hell, I DID back it, and I'm not even as bitter as he is. It's pretty shitty, but it's not like it's the worst game ever made or anything.

oh I did start playing Killer Instinct. Working on just going through the story mode for each character. I like it, though I wish I had a fightpad.
