Either way, it was a one off title that doesn't do much to drive the series forward. I still think it's done in the US.

Speaking of technical showcase Nintendo franchises, it's been a decade and a half since we last saw any entries in the Wave Race or 1080 Snowboarding franchises. That makes me sad, because 1080 Avalanche is fantastic.

Fatal Frame, or rather Project Zero, is still getting released here in Europe, although in small runs. We got the Fatal Frame 2 port on Wii as well as a physical version of the Wii U title.

Spirit Camera was interesting, but I wouldn't call it good.
