lol there was a thread years ago about our dream sequels. I said:
Skies of Arcadia II
Phantasy Star V
Final Fantasy VI-2
None of these will ever exist.

Re: We need a Skies of Arcadia Remake or Sequel
We don't need a VI-2, we all know it would suck. I don't think modern S-E has what it takes to do a proper old-school Final Fantasy...
...which also extends to Sega and Phantasy Star V and Skies II. Guess we better stick with an HD remake and leave it there.

Re: We need a Skies of Arcadia Remake or Sequel
Sega doesn't have the ability to do it, but Sega has already, through Sonic Mania, established the ability to work with smaller teams that have the vision they now lack. Now all that needs to happen is some other dev house to bring a proposal to Sega that they'd be able to get their head around.
Re: We need a Skies of Arcadia Remake or Sequel
SEGA owns Atlus so they do have the ability. Bone says never but people said never about Mega Man 11 and Shenmue.
Re: We need a Skies of Arcadia Remake or Sequel
Atlus is too busy rehashing SMT, Persona, or Etrian for the umpteenth time.
(I'm being only semi-serious, although I do miss the days where you could get some really wild stuff from Atlus. Not so much these days.)

How much really wild stuff was Atlus and how much was Atlus USA?

We all know Atlus best-published game is Virtual Hydlide!
Re: We need a Skies of Arcadia Remake or Sequel
I knew someone would point that out, but my point stands. They were willing to publish some wild stuff, and I loved 'em for it.
