My Setup *Update 8/23*

Post by rainnyx4 »

Hey everyone! I found this site not too long ago and I have to say that I love it. I'm not really a collector (the rarest/most expensive stuff I've got are probably my Saturn games like Shining Force III and Dragon Force) but I am an avid gamer. I own pretty much all of the major systems (except for XBox/XBox 360 which I have no desire to own because I have a computer) and I still use them frequently (probably more than my Wii and PS3). The Saturn is probably my favorite to play since I own imports of X-Men/Marvel vs. Street Fighter, Pocket Fighter, and Samurai Showdown.

Anyways, here's my setup.

The entertainment center is great in that it hides wires pretty well and there's plenty of storage for the controllers. Though I obviously ran out of room when I bought the PS3. I still live at home with my parents and I just recently graduated from college so I think I'm doing pretty well considering. This summer I'm moving to Japan to teach English so I should be able to acquire some nice Japanese games while I'm there (would love to get a Neo Geo).

My goal as far as gaming would be to eventually have a dedicated gaming room when I get my own place with a nice LCD/Plasma for the newer generation systems and the 27'' Sony I currently have for the older generation. It's also been a dream of mine to have a Terminator 2 pinball machine since I have fond memories of playing the thing at the local pizza place as a kid.

Are you saying his Star Fox 64 isn't a good choice? :D

I can't make out what that SNES cartridge is though.

I'm currently rocking Turtles in Time on the SNES.

Good choice there too. Would never have guessed that though.

nice set up- having the ps3 up there on the shelf all by itself makes me nervous though. That sucker looks like it may come down!

post some pics of your games!

Haha, I never noticed it at first glance. Good clean setup. I don't know much about speakers but they look pretty badass.
