I bought Shinobi (PS2) when it was new, and really liked it, but I only ever made it into the city area, where you have to hop from wall to wall over bottomless pits. I gave up on it and sold it a number of years later, but I have the Japanese version now. At some point I intend to give it another go. I also have Nightshade (Kunoichi), and have played the first stage or so of it. It seems very different in terms of gameplay. Seems to be much more action oriented.

Speaking of Shinobi, I think I must be one of the only fans of the 3DS game in the world...

My copy of Shinobi III came today and despite being the PAL version and allegedly optimised, it seems to run fine in 60hz. The music seems marginally too fast, otherwise it's fine.

Now just waiting for Rocket Knight Adventures, which I guess I accidentally bid on and won... Thanks to those who recommended it.

Shinobi on 3DS is rad. I think most people who have played it liked it, just not enough people have played it.

If you have a 3DS and love action platformers it's a must have.
