Excellent. That is the best version of Doom 3 by far and a good way to play the classics. If you need more after that and if it's still on XBLA, get No Rest For the Living... an originally XBLA exclusive set of new maps for Doom 2 that was awesome.
On PSN there is the Doom Complete Collection which has Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, Doom 2 Master Levels, Plutonia, TNT, and No Rest for the Living. Like 120 some levels. So get that if you want the Final Doom set and Doom 2 Master Levels.

Re: Games Acquired 2017
Well holy freakin' crap. Didn't expect to win that particular auction, but I'm now going to be the proud owner of a PC Engine Duo. According to the description, this one has been recapped, S-Video modded, region-modded, and "basic CD maintenance". It's gonna set me back $316.10 in total, but that's honestly not a bad price overall. And that knocks one of the major systems I've always wanted off my list. Now for the Neo Geo...

Sweet early Christmas present for yourself. I know this is something you've been wanting for a long time now, so congratulations. Looking forward to you knocking out some PCECD games. May I suggest...Sarge wrote:I'm now going to be the proud owner of a PC Engine Duo.

Whatcha doin' about this one? I myself got a Japanese AES and converter that plays MVS games. About $450 for all that hardware (yikes) but it gives me access to a ton of games. I'm trying to scoop up some of the "cheap" AES games and then it's MVS for the leftovers.Sarge wrote:Now for the Neo Geo...
Nice work on the PCE. Epic system. So many great RPGs.

I'd actually like a cabinet, but I may just get a JAMMA board and a 1-slot MVS. Might be a while before I go for it, though.

Re: Games Acquired 2017
I've got a 4 slot cabinet and an MVS-to-JAMMA converter to run my one slot MVS board. It was waaaay cheaper than a multislot board, and it's not much work for me to swap carts. Also opens up some JAMMA possibilities down the line.Sarge wrote:I'd actually like a cabinet, but I may just get a JAMMA board and a 1-slot MVS. Might be a while before I go for it, though.

Re: Games Acquired 2017

US Saturn disc drive quit working so I replaced it with a Japanese Saturn since most of my Saturn collection is Japanese and have an Action Replay cart for my US games now.
