I agree, WiiU full set requires some horrible purchases. Try hello Kitty kruisers. Go look at the price for that and some of the others. Thanks to GameStop I grabbed it for 17 bucks, while being goofed on by everyone. Now I get to laugh.

Local Wal-Mart has heavily discounted 7th gen AAA stuff right now. Like, $7 games. I wouldn't pay launch price, or even $20, for a Halo game but if I can get a few lolz out of it for $<10 why the hell not.

I'm pretty stoked to have found those NES games locally. They were on my wishlist; both are janky as hell -- but I love janky NES games.

Fun Fact #1 - Much like Kid Icarus, Metroid, and the first two Castlevania and Zelda games, Dr. Chaos was a disk game in Japan and cartridge in the States.
Fun Fact #2 - Castlequest is the sequel to a little-known Japan-exclusive simply titled The Castle.

Speaking of discounted 7th gen games, I just nabbed this off eBay:



Brand new and sealed, free shipping for $11.96

Why? Because I've been wanting to play through DOOM and DOOM 2 again, which this includes, and I never beat DOOM 3. This version of DOOM 3 includes both of its expansion packs as well. Not a bad deal methinks.
