Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Any good retro game stores in the Roswell, GA (near Atlanta)

Post by Scooter »

Will be travelling on business to Roswell, GA in about a week and wouldn't mind finding a few decent used game stores to browse through. Any in Roswell or close by would be a bonus as I've never been to the Atlanta area and don't think I'll have time or inclination to battle local traffic over a great distance.

I dont know of any directly in Roswell but near it in Norcross/Duluth there are two:
Waba games - wabaclub.com
and a PlayNTrade that I will personally vouch for - since one of their employees post here.
However I know your luck with PlaynTrades.

Nothing terribly must see. But if you do make the trip to PlayNTrade give me a holler and I will show up around the same time. Dave will let us borrow a tv for some retro fun.

The PnT is right up the road from my office. Let me know if you guys plan a mini-retro meet-up :)

That would be kind of cool! I'll be in town Wed. evening April 22 leaving Saturday morning April 25. Thursday or Friday evening might be an option. I'm meeting a local car buddy one of those days so we'll see how the schedule works out. Can you post up some addresses for those stores so I can Mapquest them from my hotel? TIA.

By the way, I've got nothing against Play N Trade in general, just the one local to me! It sucks rocks!

Calling us racketeers makes us sound like we are trying to pull the big con.

I go every now and then. I don't buy that many games since I don't have a ton of time to play, but I like to stop in and see if they have anything interesting, since its right down the street from work.

Are you there often?
