Post your current gaming want/wish list, aquire opinions.
I've noticed some of you keep updated want/wish lists of games you'd like to own. Why don't we share them? Maybe folks can help others prioritize their list, by offering experienced opinions on games they've already played. Maybe folks can save others from wasting precious disposable income on putrid turdlets. Failing all else, there's always virtue in virtual voyeurism.
Ex's want list:
That's it for me currently. I refuse to buy a Wii U or Switch until this list is acquired.

Re: Post your current gaming want/wish list, aquire opinions
You asked for it!!!!!
I have finished off my Wii, Wii U, Xbox, and Xbox 360 collections, and I will likely finish off my PS3 collection before the end of the year. Next year, I will focus on finishing off my 7800 and Game Gear collections. I doubt very much I will ever finish off my Genesis or NES collections. I also need to make an import "want" list at some point too.
.....
Xumy: With regard to your list, I recommend getting Rayman Legends on the Vita (or Wii U or Switch). It has some touch screen sections that I do not think would translate well to systems without a touch screen. Also, it is a super-awesome game that you should buy and play ASAP.
I am also glad to see that I am not the only one planning to get the 3DS River City games!

Don't worry about Silent Hill Homecoming or Downpour until you've tried out 2-4. I would not recommend those games on their own either, so it kind of enters the "for the fans" territory only. Homecoming had a good budget with amazing monster designs, but the American developers went for the American movie and thought "Silent Hill is all about gore and violence right". It also has a forced combat system, in that you lock onto enemies and have dodging, like it wants to be a character action game and most encounters cannot be avoided, you have to kill things to trigger events. Combat was freaking terrible. I beat it and don't hate it, but it's like a 5/10 in my book. Downpour has an utterly bad budget with horrible combat, but the story was pretty good and back to Silent Hill weirdness... this team seemed like they got what Silent Hill was, but sadly didn't have the resources to make something great and Konami obviously doesn't care. Maybe a 6/10.
A note about Homecoming, you can NOT invert the camera. Options will give you a checkmark but nothing happens. Both 360/PS3 versions are bugged and it was apparently too hard for Konami to patch...
Only one I really recommend outside of 1-4, is Origins. It plays just like 2-3. But the story isn't quite up to par with Team Silent's work nor did we really need more context around Silent Hill 1's events. It doesn't really help explain anything, lol. But it was fun and classic Silent Hill design.
Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World - Man, it's weird but I don't have much to say about this game which I just beat a few weeks ago. I know there's some big fans on the board though. I do think it's definitely the best Yoshi game since Yoshi's Island and don't want to downplay that... but I kind of just cruised through Woolly World, like 80% of it in a day. It was a fun binge and maybe I'll remember it, but yeah. The gameplay is good, the art style is fantastic, but it just all around feels like a pretty vanilla platformer. Perhaps some others can sell you on it.

Re: Post your current gaming want/wish list, aquire opinions
My Wishlist:
Yeah, no lists for old stuff. My SNES collection is boss already.
I am currently kind of interested in nailing down a plan for the Wii and Wii U, I could see myself reaching a stopping point with those. The Wii U lifespan was short so that might not be too hard. The Wii on the other hand has a lot of stuff probably buried in shovelware.
The Xbox will be fun and cheap to collect for too. Other than that though I will probably always be thinking about more stuff for my Playstation systems, especially PSX-PS2.
PS3/360 gen and up isn't too important, a bit more subject to change and I might opt for HD/remasters or PC versions in some cases.
Some of this is a little dated... I clean out the list sometimes, but it's also a little fun to go down my ancient Amazon list and get a laugh out of it every once and awhile. Wondering why I wanted this or that, where that came from, etc haha.

Re: Post your current gaming want/wish list, aquire opinions
I don't keep a list, but I probably should. There are some big-name games that I'd love, like Panzer Dragoon Saga, or Little Samson, or DuckTales 2, but I figure I don't need a list for those. If I saw 'em for cheap, I'd be all over 'em.
Two things I have wanted for a long, long time, though, are a Turbo Duo and a Neo Geo. I'm getting close to caving on the Duo, although I might get a recapped, region-modded PC Engine Duo instead of the US version. For the Neo Geo, I would actually rather have an arcade cabinet.

Holy hell I don't even know where to start with prfsnl_gmr's list. All I can say is tracking down all that stuff should keep you busy for... the rest of your life? Good luck man! (Of course buying King's Field for PS1 should be the top priority though.) And prfsnl_gmr, OK I'll switch Rayman Legends over to the Vita list. If anything seeing it on dat OLED is worth the extra cost (vs the cheaper 360 version).

Re: Post your current gaming want/wish list, aquire opinions
Oh, right, I do have one there. And one on GOG. So I conveniently forgot, haha! I think I just don't "count" digital titles, for whatever reason.
I have a pretty good number of titles on my Steam wishlist, but many of them I wouldn't purchase unless they were ridiculously cheap. There's also a few still on there that I think I've obtained through other means.
On GOG, the big ones that I added recently are Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection (I have no earthly idea who recommended that one) and Hollow Knight. The big ones on Steam are, in no particular order:
NieR: Automata - I'll buy this on PS4, though.
Quantum Break - If I get a beefy enough machine, I'll get this. Or a XB1. I'm guessing the former is more likely.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Still haven't played through the first, but this is on my radar.
River City Ransom Underground
Double Dragon IV
Rabi-Ribi - Looks a bit daft, but I've heard it's a really good Metroidvania.
Battle Chasers: Nightwar
Sonic Mania
Alwa's Awakening
Cuphead
Mystik Belle
Cosmic Star Heroine
Iconoclasts
The ones of these that are on GOG, though, will get purchased there, naturally. One day.
Oh, and I want to finish off the RPGs for NES, SNES, and PSX. Not that far away, but I'm a cheapskate.

@Sarge
Knowing your tastes as I do, I would prioritize these PC games:
Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection (To anyone reading: If you enjoy lighthearted action-JRPGs, Zwei is a must.)
Sonic Mania
Alwa's Awakening
Cosmic Star Heroine

@BoneySnappersDeezNutz
I'll give you some doopty hoo opinions.
Famicom
Lagrange Point <----Awesome atmosphere and amazing OST, grindy as grindy could ever grind tho.
Radia Senki: Reimeihen <---Nice concept but botched execution, extremely slow walking speed + extremely slow battles + extreme backtracking.
Sweet Home <---Pretty good, but also has too much backtracking and inventory fiddling. Good overall for its time.
SNES / Super Famicom
Contra III: The Alien Wars <---Muh favorite Contra.
Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof <---I think you would enjoy this. It's kinda-sorta-like Zelda, but far simpler and even more action oriented.
Game Boy Color
Grandia: Parallel Trippers <---YES
Survival Kids <---I played through this one, it's decent. The end of the game turns into a ludicrous scavenger hunt though.
GameCube
Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II Plus <---Terrible game what are you thinking man.
Sega CD
Dungeon Explorer <---Worth it for the OST alone.
TurboGrafx-16
Blazing Lazers <---This is my all time favorite TG16 shmup. That says a lot considering how many the system has.
PlayStation
Shadow Tower <---Manliest game that ever manned outta man town. I hate/love it. (My review from the Games Beaten thread.)

My wishlist is complete chaos, and unfortunately I can't post my wishlist that I constructed on Gamefaqs. Even if I had something reasonably accurate, in a text file, these days I don't really have much reason to actually collect physical games for a lot of my consoles (NES, Master System, Genesis, PC Engine, Xbox, Wii, PS3) because of flash carts, or mods--even though it would theoretically be cool to own the games I'm missing physically. Pretty much anything I don't already own for the Dreamcast or Saturn is fair game, though.
