They're under new ownership, so I think they've got a relaunch coming. Only digital now, though. I'll have to look it up when I'm at a computer.JoeAwesome wrote:Where can you get the magazine? I saw the digital ones, but the print copy of the compilation looks appealing (or a digital version, actually).Sarge wrote:They're under new ownership, so I think they've got a relaunch coming. Only digital now, though. I'll have to look it up when I'm at a computer.

That's good to hear about Battletoads/Double Dragon. I'm not particularly good at Battletoads, so a drop in difficulty sounds greatMarkies wrote:Even though it's made by Tradewest, Battletoads/Double Dragon feels very much like a Battletoads/Rare game. It's frustrating and the controls are kind of iffy, but it is still very enjoyable. It's easier than a normal Battletoads game, so that helps. If you like other Battletoads games, it's worth a pick up.Xeogred wrote:Nice haul Michi. I didn't know the steel case was rare, glad I have it too hehe.
I can't remember if Battletoads Double Dragon was good or not.
Samus Returns ruled and Suikoden III rocks.
And nice pick up on Suikoden III. If you have never played a Suikoden game, III is a reasonably priced and a rather good entry to start the series.
And yeah, I've heard nice things about Suikoden III. Should be a good time.

I have such fond memories of classic Midway that I'll still grab most anything that has their logo on it hahaha.

Managed to snag Nex Machina off Limited Run Games a few minutes ago. Now I have both Matterfall and Nex Machina. These games are so good. Amazing and I mean AMAZING soundtracks as well. That 80s synth! It's up there for me with a good Sax and 80s metal for me in pleasure to my ears.

I love the soundtrack (I'm listening to it right now). Ended up splurging and getting the soundtrack along with the game. It's a nice listen.Segata wrote:Managed to snag Nex Machina off Limited Run Games a few minutes ago. Now I have both Matterfall and Nex Machina. These games are so good. Against my better judgment, I picked up La Mulana EX for Vita from Limited Run. I don't even know if I'll end up playing it since I have the PC version; it's more of an impulse investment purchase.
