Even though I'm not a big RPG fan, this is indeed cool for all retro fans.
I first heard of this game when checking out a youtube vid by MN12BIRD. I wasn't sure if he was just joking around or not, cause he looked seriously stoned in that vid. lol

Re: Pier Solar?
Someone tries to point this out every time i see a pier solar thread ANYWHERE. That is not a BRAND NEW rpg. It is a translation of a Taiwanese mega drive game if i'm not mistaken, the super fighter team guys didn't create that game. I'm not sure on specifics on whether it was released in Taiwan in the genny says or not. But either way, the two games are completely in different categories. Pier Solar is a built from the ground up fan made game, super fighter team games are games released in partnership with what seems to be exclusively Asian development companies.Hatta wrote:You know, they're not the first to release a brand new RPG for the Genesis. Dammit, how does this linking shit work again?
*edit: legend of wukong was developed in the 90's

I preordered a copy as well, I can't wait for the finished product. I'm also glad they update the site weekly, it gives me assurance that steady progress is being made.

I had forgotten that the finished product comes with a CD as well as a cart, as I started panicking that I wouldn't have a good way to store it. Then I remembered that the UGCs are designed to hold a CD. When I get home I'm going to have to see what kind of impact it might have to put both in a single case.
