Ribbit King is great. Its like an alternative universes version of Mario Golf. Solid game through and through.

And really, 3d World Runner on the FDS is weird?

On my list I have to say Atomega:

Boxart is crazy boring, so I don't really care that the one I was able to find is so tiny. It's a really wierd Nintendo published game, and it came out all the way out in 2005. You play as cupid and are ordered by god to watch over a family. You need to make them fall in love to marry and reproduce long enough for 1000 years (or it might be 1000 generations, I can't quite remember). Like Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, this game has a real-time clock in it, so stuff happens while you're away. This is kinda Nintendo's first attempts at a Sims-style game, with Tomodachi Life being a much more successful go at it, I think.

This is just a really weird one that I found out about on the 3DS badge arcade of all places. In the Japanese badge arcade, all the badges actually have individual names, not just generic ones, so all the ones of game carts actually say what the game is. I got a badge of this game's cart and was just so perplexed by it, I've wanted to at least try it (even though I'd probably never finish it).

My stuff is tame. Looking into any wants of the future would limit to GoG and Switch basically. GoG has Day of the Tentacle, Yooka-Laylee, Day of the Tentacle, Hyperdimension Neptunia (1-3), Wonderboy and Kerbal Space Program as the weirdest looking.

Switch nothing is really all that odd other than all the weird you can do with that hat in Mario Odyssey I guess. I suppose if I picked up more 3DS stuff past or present the Yoshi game, either of the Kunio titles, or that Saber Rider anime platformer would work out.

Princess Maker 3: Fairy Tales Come True
In which you play as a guy who adopts a fairy who wants to be a human and you raise her to be an upstanding woman with... or a dominatrix or something, depending on your play-style. It's by Gainax, who's more famous as an anime company, responsible for the likes of Evangelion, FLCL, and Royal Space Force: Wings of Honneamise.
I already own it on Saturn, but now that there's an English version, I think I might end up making a Steam account so I can actually play it properly! (But I don't HAVE a Steam account and don't really WANT one, so I'm dragging my feet.)

I don't really know what counts as weird these days. But Princess Maker is classic WTF-type game for a lot of folks.
