I cant ask for much at my age, but I still got some misc gadgetry that I've been needing. A 5.0megapixel camera, a printer/scanner with both cartridges, a 512 flash mp3 player. Oh and the first 2 penny arcade books, which are great. After that, clothes, which I badly needed.

I made out well this year -- what I asked for, my wife provided.

* Warm hat with poofy ball on top.
* Cozy PJs.

Gaming related? Sure. My wife was frustrated over my usual non-chalant answer that I don't really wany much of anything -- your love is enough, so on and so forth. So, on a lark, I asked for a Wii. This proved frustrating for her, as she learned it was nearly impossible to find. I knew it would be difficult, for occassionally, I like to watch her squirm ;) But, I said -- randomly go to our local Toys R Us, at odd hours of the day, and you will find one. Of course, I didn't actually expect that to work -- but I didn't want her to suffer that much. Cold mornings and long lines -- no thanks. She walked in on her way to lunch, asked the fellow in the game department if any were in stock, and he sold her one of the last two remaining Wii's which arrived as a shipment with 15 others the previous 20 minutes.

I got some new hiking shoes and board games. I got both Settlers of Catan and Cities and Knights of Catan. I enjoyed playing online but it's nice to have the actual board and sit down with real people.

Happy Greed Fest... as we call it in my family.

I'm spent mine in Connecticut with my mother, then my brothers and I went up to Vermont and that is where I am right now. We are skiin' at "Mount Snow" in West Dover. It's my first time and its really fun. I've gotten the green trails down pact and road 2 of my first blue trails today. Both were very short and were just connector trails over to other green trails. Tomorrow I hope to take a long blue trail like "Canyon" or something. I was so surprised out how fun it is!

Tomorrow's my last day though and then it is back to Florida.

I heard while I am out of town my FTP went down and I won't be able to check on it until I get back which is on the 1st of the month... sorry anyone who wanted to utilize it.
