Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
Shadow of War looks like the worst pile of garbage I've seen in a long ass time, lmfao. The first game was horrible too.
- Tons of forced walking segments
- Hold up to platform everything
- Push A to win
- A clone of an already stale and boring franchise (Assassin's Creed) now in a very generic and bland looking fantasy world
I'd rather play Sonic 2006.

I 100% agree with you.

AC Origins looks real bad too. So... the "big changes" that took them two years are: loot mechanics, Far Cry outposts, and a no combat option mode. I stopped after AC2/Brotherhood and I'm pretty sure I'm never touching this franchise again.
I just don't know why anyone would give a crap about these two games coming out with everything else dropping in Q4. I guess if you like vanilla pudding open world and like playing the same thing 2-3 times a year, there they are!

CS ate into the player base of TFC after the September 11 attacks.
Starcraft is a poor attempt at ripping off the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and while Games Workshop isn't exactly rosy, I'm a big enough fan not to appreciate knock offs of the Imperium of Man. FOR THE EMPEROR!
They're fine games, and I've played both, but I don't consider myself a fan for these reasons. Truth be told, I'd rather play Warcraft.

Always hated CS because I only played casually and could never get a feel for the weird hit boxes.
Loved Starcraft though. But I only played that and Total Annihilation/Supreme Commander for RTS's.

Batman Arkum games combat is really boring after a while. It really doesn't offer much. Yakuza's combat system should be a blueprint for games aiming to have beat em up sections like that.

Some people really like the way careful timing can allow you to tame a whole crowd with a long string of attacks in Arkham
