How do I rip from Dreamcast self-booting disk to HD?

Post by Mega-Dan »

I want to have my self-booting dreamcast disk on my hd, and I have no idea how to create a discjuggler cdi image that will work. I tried it twice and both times it failed. Anyone have any guidance?

Be warned that a good portion of the selfbooted DC games out there, can't be read on a PC drive ever again, once they are burned. I don't know the reason why, but it's a very common issue. Hell, all 4 of my custom remix releases have that issue. Sucks for Chankast users, especially.

I don't know if I'd say its THAT common. A few yers ago, I used to re-rip and burn discs all the time for people. I didn't have much HD space back then. I only ran into a handful that were like that.

Half of my backups are. They freeze up my entire computer until I remove the discs.
