What RPG are you playing right now?

Started up the SNES Classic and began working on Super Mario RPG! Just got Mallow and am saving the little toads in the castle... so not to far.

Dude is this your first time playing it? My first JRPG! Still love it to this day.

The SNES is a HUGE gap in my gaming experience. I was a Sega boy until the great fall of the dreamcast and crossed party lines.

Thoughts on Brain Lord? I think I remember you guys telling me it's bad, but I'm not sure. Pixelated Audio had an episode dedicated to it and it sounds neat. Music is hit or miss, but the good tracks are amazing.

It's a great, underrated action-RPG, with some really nice puzzles. Has my favorite OST out of all SNES games. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't like it, unless the puzzles are too hard I guess.

That's good to hear. I get some of the those lesser known SNES overhead JRPG's mixed up... but I'll remember to give that one another look.

My world is shattering at the moment as I just discovered the Threads of Fate composer, Junya Nakano, co-composed on FFX. And it almost sounds like it's his stuff I might love the most about FFX's soundtrack... this stuff is incredible.

Valkryia Revolution. Only for another day. While Battle Chasers is here. I want to play Dragon's Dogma. Should be delivered Friday. VR really doesn't know how to mix it up even for a Warriors-like game. I kinda enjoy the game in short spurts and the fact it was super cheap. It's not a very good game. It's a shame. It looks so nice and the OST is decent. Nothing that really sticks in my head but decent when playing.

The podcast was talking about the connection too. And they dogged on 7th Saga. I continue to hear mixed things about that one.
