Today's pick-ups from a local game store.


This is a bit of a weird haul as some of these games I already own or have owned.

Ms. Pac-Man I got a few years ago but the cart was dead on arrival. I heard that's an issue for some Tengen Genesis games? This one works!
Q*bert I already had but the label was in rough shape. Parker Bros. labels are notoriously bad. Happy to have a new one.
Sky Diver I thought I didn't own. But when I got home I realized I already had it. At least I have two label variants now; prfsnl_gmr would be proud.

Arrived damaged. 3 corners are mushed like that. Other 2 are in the back. So sick of this crap. Could be worse seeing the box it came in. I think Ace Venture delivered it. Not happy about that.

Great CE however. It's weird you get two soundtrack CDs. The 5 song one that comes with the standard game and the 15 song disc with the jewel case. Comes with a bunch of cool stuff. A bigger art book than the standard which you still get. Cloth poster. Steelbook, one of the best-looking steel books I have ever seen. Book ends of Adol and the lady on the cover. The coolest thing is a faux leather bound journal of Adol's adventures. Has the old looking paper and hand pencil drawings. It's a fantastic CE.

I bought Halo 2 for the Microsoft XBOX!

I surprisingly really enjoyed the first Halo, so I decided to go into the sequel. I do know the history and the story of the sequel, so the disappointing ending is not going to come out of nowhere. I'm excited to look at the game with fresh eyes and see how well it has done after released so many years later.
