That's probably true. The people who probably would have played one when the 2600 was the new thing are in their 40s and maybe even their 50s at this point.
I'm only 35 but the 2600 was my first console (started out as a retro gamer!). My mom got mine at a garage sale in 1988 (I think) along with 30-40 games for $20 for my birthday that year. We were a single income family of five, and she couldn't afford to get me an NES. It didn't matter - I loved it then and still love it now. I still own my original Vader model and it still works great.
Have: Sega Genesis, SNES, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Atari 800XL, PC, N3DS XL, Wii U, GBA, Xbox One, Switch
Holy cow, I didn't even know that it's birthday was coming up! I love my Vader 2600. I still play Kaboom a couple times a month!
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)
Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping!
