Anyway I won't recommend this one to anyone and I won't watch it again, but I'm glad I watched it once
What was the last movie you've seen?

Watched Kicking and Screaming last night, the one from the nineties not the Will Ferrell one. Its about a group of college grads who are avoiding getting on with life after college. I don't know how I feel about this one. The directing was weird, the dialogue sounds like a group of college kids flexing their vocabulary muscles, the movie never picks up, the scenes seem to be only slightly related but I was engrossed.
Anyway I won't recommend this one to anyone and I won't watch it again, but I'm glad I watched it once
I don't know, maybe try it for yourself, throw out expectations first and don't blame me if you don't like it.

Shame that you didn't like Suspiria. It's actually one of my favorite films and it's a shame that other films from the same director have been horrible. I saw Phenomena pretty soon after Suspiria and it kinda felt like Suspiria was partially accident. It has the same Argento style but his other films are just shoddy and don't click like Suspiria did.
It's funny how he used music so well in Suspiria but his use of music seem to be really awful in his other movies. Like Michi said the metal soundtrack is just odd and doesn't fit. Deep Red also has a weird soundtrack that hurts the film.
I'm at some point going to give him last more chance with his first film but i'm expecting it to be more like Phenomena than Suspiria.

IT
Not a bad film. The kids are really well done but the clown...ugh. It's just jump scares. I think if they removed the BWAH every time announcing something spooky about to happen IT would be better. It's kinda dull there but the kids really make the film more than the clown. I enjoyed it and I like this film is a hard R. Tim Curry's IT makes a small cameo. (it's also in the trailers)

I'm wanting to see IT, as I loved the og. I play travel softball, yes that's a thing, and came across these full sub dyed mocks up jerseys a few days ago. I like wearing odd jerseys if I pickup during league ball with somebody.

Putting aside for a moment the offensiveness of your word choice...Pulsar_t wrote:Bay has gone full retard with this one.
Wasn't the last Transformers movie bad enough for you to write off the franchise? Did you really need to see this one to know Transformers was shit? After the last movie, anyone who voluntarily goes to see this one deserves what they get.

The earlier ones were mindless entertainment, but now it's just plain painful to watch his movies.marurun wrote:Putting aside for a moment the offensiveness of your word choice...Pulsar_t wrote:Bay has gone full retard with this one.
