Not including gifts, have you ever bought yourself a game for a system you don't own and weren't planning on owning any time soon?
I once bought Super Mario World just because it was $2.50. I don't have a SNES and I still don't have a SNES so I can't play it.

I bought Super Smash Bros. for the 64 for $5 when I didn't have an N64. I ended up getting one 2 years later.

Hmm, no, but a friend once bought a dreamcast VMU so he could load it up with the minigames off my Dreamcast system and play them at his place. He raised a hell of a chao, let me tell ya. I also loaned him a Neo Geo Pocket Color and SNK vs Capcom Match of the Millennium, and he unlocked every single thing for me in a few days.

But shouldn't it work on your PS2?PGchris wrote:I bought Final Fantasy 7 when I didn't have a ps1 so I could play it at my friends house
Thanks again...BTW
Oh, also...I have bought many games for systems I don't own.

If I ever did, I can't remember doing so. My friend once bought The Thing on PS2 even though he didn't own the system, he was playing it my house and I other places as well.

I remember buying a Zillion and an SMS controller about a year before I owned a Master System. I bought Zillion because I knew it was supposed to be one of the best Master System games, and because it was only a dollar. Then I bought the controller just because it looked really cool to me. I've always been a Segaphile, I really couldn't help it.

Haha this would be back in 1998, I have no idea what happened to that copy of the game, so this would be my second time buying FF7.jp1 wrote:But shouldn't it work on your PS2?PGchris wrote:I bought Final Fantasy 7 when I didn't have a ps1 so I could play it at my friends house

My brother preordered Twilight Princess at Gamestop, and ended up with the game without a system to play it on: we got the Wii that Christmas.
