When I saw the specs on that Optoma, I felt that would suit me perfectly. Plus, the input lag is more than acceptable, so it fares well for gaming purposes.
A few downsides to it that may be a deal-breaker for some (I was fortunate to work around those issues) is that it has a limited vertical lens shift, and no keystone correction at all. So it's not very flexible as far as positioning/mounting is concerned.
