What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Do you have a link with info? Arguably there have already been sequels to Tempest 2000. Does this go back to the 2k model or does it spin off from 3K or some other title?

The worst bit is that companies complain that they cannot find employees that fit their demands. Well, when you demand 3 languages at a native level, a university career and 5 years of experience and you don't offer a livable wage, is it any wonder?

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I haven't been posting lately because I've been in Baltimore for BronyCon since Wednesday and will be until Monday, but I needed to post this - I was just told that one of my students and his girlfriend were killed I'm a car accident tonight. It wasn't a quick or painless death; the car went off a bridge, trapping them in the rapidly submerging car and drowning them. Having experienced drowning to death myself (had to defib me), I can attest that it is an excruciating experience. He was only 16; if I remember correctly, his girlfriend was only 15. I never knew William's girlfriend - she was a student a county over - but he was a sweet kid with a beautiful heart. My heart is broken - this is the first student of mine to die - but I wanted to share. I'm glad that I was at BronyCon with my truest friends if this news had to come, but it's a kind of grief and mourning I've never felt before.

Damn, Elkin, that is horrible. I'm sorry for both families' loss, for the friends who have to face such a topic for the first time, and for your having to deal with it too. That is a complete and devastating tragedy.

Yesterday was my fifth year as a member here.
I still physically cringe thinking back to then.

Tried Octopus, Squid and Pork Belly for the first time at a Ramen shop today, was amazing. Can't wait to go back.
