Oh ok, if you're in, tell me your name and when I can catch you online to invite you.

Edit: Invited.

It doesn't require much. An hour a day is plenty, thanks to stamina.

In fact I'm probably only going to be on for when someone needs to be invited, for the next few days. Let my stamina recharge fully while I do other stuff. The EXP and JP rate has been so low since I've worked my guy out so hard.

*sigh* The game was totally raped over the weekend. A cheat of some sort was found and now everyone is using it. It gives you LVL255 powers, so you're invincible basically. Everyone is running around killing everyone who isn't cheating. You can't even leave a town without dying now. I keep trying but I don't make it very far. The economy is also screwed up because of all this. I give up for the week. Doesn't seem like anyone but Arion gave it a try anyway. I think MMOs use monthly fees to filter out the retards and assholes. If you actually had to pay for a game, you probably wouldn't abuse it like this and risk getting everything you worked hard on, thrown away.

i didn play it that much over the weekend but i did spend a few hours today and i only got pk´d once and i was afk at the time. There was some lag going on today sometimes the game would simply freeze for a while at first i thought it was my dsl connection but later i found out it was happening to everyone else. But aside from that it was fun.

and on another note there is just something about a axe wielding pumkin head :D

Things have calmed down in the game. Supposedly, 200 accounts were banned. Also, the game is exiting the beta phase in 3 days. They are incorporating the commercial item stores soon, where you can pay for game items with real life money, IF YOU WISH TO. You aren't forced to. I know there's a lot of people dedicated enough to actually do this. Hopefully it will keep the game alive forever as planned. This game certainly looks more impressive than all the others who have attempted this concept, so I wish them the best of luck.

The weekly update is delayed until tomorrow. They will probably be adding a lot of stuff related to the commercial stores, and hopefully more bug fixes. I'd love it if they could get my party buttons to stop disappearing between log-outs. And you would think they'd get the friends list inserted before going 1.0 on us, but it looks like they aren't...

I'm up to lvl24 and I am getting some interesting drops all of a sudden. The past few lvls have netted me nothing but crap. Feels like I got past some kind of reward hump. Got one of those Crow masks too.

I haven't played as much since the game went final, but I've kept up to date with their patching progress. Things seemed to slow down, but then I found out this is why:

http://rappelz.gpotato.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20352

A megaton patch is coming, and I am really liking the sound of a dozen or so of those notes. Seems like the battle speed will increase, exp and jp earnings will increase, item costs will decrease. Overall, the game will become faster paced. Many other refinements are coming. I look forward to finally messaging people by simply clicking their name, and I hope they can de-lag the game as much as they claim they will. I may be getting back into it if all this turns out to be true.

The guild was obviously a failure though. There was only a 3 or 4 of you that gave it a try, but that's ok. If I can ever actually find a decent guild in this, I'll post when I disband the current one.

In the meantime, if you guys wanna check out another similar free MMO which, in my opinion, seems superior to Rappelz, try Last Chaos.

Added a little video of a failed boss fight from tonight. A party of 8.

Also, Rappelz was given yet another hefty 40MB or so patch. A lot of content was added:

I believe I'm going to be trying this out. This looks pretty cool and it doesn't look stupid like Shadowbane or anything else I've tried that was free.

Typing this as a new patch is being applied while the servers are down. I've been quite hooked on this game again recently. Went from lvl28 to 34 in a week. You'll find that lvls come MUCH slower after 20, so this is saying a lot. I really hate how the offline stamina gain was removed for non-paying customers (rather, those who don't pay the hidden village pass or tent items with real life money).

So I figured, what the hell. I gave em $10 and bought a day pass to the hidden village for $1.50. I think it's worth it. You can buy the fearsome Lydian mount, pictured here, for 20000 ruppees and ride it for 72 game hours, not real world hours. Much better than the 6 hour bird mount. It has superior stats to the bird mounts, and with my 25% speed buff, the damn thing is a race car.

You also get free teleporting services to all 4 towns, as well as certain field locations near those towns for quick enemy farming.

All the stores are also selling items much cheaper than normal.

There is also a person giving out plotless quests for superior rewards compared to the same types of NPCs in the towns. That's handy for when you are in a position where you have done all the quests available up to your current lvl, and must farm the slow way to get that extra exp you need.

On top of all this, for as long as you have the pass, your stamina gain is 200% in towns, while offline I believe as well as online. I think originally, you had a 120% gain in towns, before they removed that feature for non-payers.

Overall, I think it's worth giving them a tiny bit of money for this pass. The pass can be bought as 1 day, 7 day, 1 month, or 3 month I believe. The longer the pass, the more the savings. But I suggest just getting a day pass once a month, and just doing your business you've been waiting on.

There are other items that might be worth spending real money on. There's a mask for 9.50, and masks are VERY hard to find in game. They give a nice permanent stat boost, and it's a shame to leave that empty face equipment slot like that. I might go for it, if only to donate what I feel the game is worth, really.

Oh, I joined a very small guild now. I tried some others earlier, but they were just worthless. The leader of this current one was super nice and loaned me his fairly strong pet, so now I can finally solo when I need to and actually survive. He's been generous, and really strives on teamwork. I suggest if any of you are ganna get into Rappelz, join our guild. Here's his site, though it's not finished yet:
