It really did. But then, people have been frothing at the mouth for that one since it was announced, so I guess it makes sense.

I was a little concerned this morning when I logged on and saw that the CE and vinyl were missing, but a quick search revealed that they would show back up at 10am. Not sure why they did that. Maybe it was a way to deter scalpers *shrugs*

Thanks to a tip from prfsnl_gmr I discovered a great gaming store in Auburn, Maine today. Yes, he knew about it and I didn't lol.

Yeah, I was shocked.

None of the employees knew what it was, which was kind of amusing.

They had some PC Engine games as well, and apparently more imports "out back." I asked where they got their imports from and they said "some Japanese guy."

It's been so long since I ordered it that I forgot that I'd even done so. But a surprise package from Japan usually means Super Famicom, and in this case, it was Rudra no Hihou, or Treasure of the Rudras. I played through this one a while back with the excellent English patch, and wanted a legit copy. Cart only, but for $5 shipped, that's about as awesome as it gets.

I think I'm starting to get into the more expensive side of the translated SFC games, though, so there's probably not a ton more I'll import. But I do need to look around for a few more, and perhaps even start looking more seriously into the Famicom scene.
