The "View something Posts" widget has moved left and it is creating problems on phone-sized displays with the text being so far left on the resulting menu that the first few characters are off-screen.

It only seems to do this on the main forum page.

OK, so I just noticed something a little weird. If you hover the mouse over the magnifying glass it'll reveal a text box for a quick search. If you click the magnifying glass it brings you to the advanced search page, but that doesn't seem obvious to me. I actually didn't find out that you can get to the advanced search by clicking the magnifying glass until just now. Being that the search box instantly pops up, I thought that's all it was for. It would be nice to have a dedicated "Advanced Search" link (no icons, an actual text link like Glossy Blue has). Or, to keep the sleeker look, maybe when the quick search text box pops up it says somewhere "Click for advanced search". I don't know what's possible.

So if you search for something using the advanced search, the results page will have a link called "Return to advanced search" on the top left. But, if you click "View X posts" you'll also get a "Return to advanced search" on the top left. I'm assuming this is due to how the forum software fetches the posts, but it seems kind of odd to have that wording after clicking "View X post". Of course, it makes perfect sense if you landed on that page through an advanced search. But I don't know if you can change one without the other.

Hey Nick - are you planning to keep the current versions of AcidTech and GlossyBlue around? If so, will the outsized avatar problem be fixed on them?

I don't know about AcidTech, but it's fixed on GlossyBlue. See this post: http://racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 3#p1107383

The grid lines for posts have been adjusted, correct? It definitely looks a lot better now!

Can the grid lines every where else be adjusted as well? The board index, sub forums, View X Posts, and PM center all have very faint grid lines. And if I'm not mistaken, the grid lines for PMs are more faint than anywhere else. So faint they're almost nonexistent on my main monitor at work. I would love to see all the grid lines on the new skin be as visible as the ones for posts.

edit: Oh, and quote boxes are very faint as well. The actual box, I mean. They're so faint I didn't even realize there was a box until just now. I feel like readability would go up if they were darkened too. It's not too bad when there's just one quote (although I would still prefer a more well defined box) but once there's a quote within a quote it starts to become a mess. Take the following post for example: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 0#p1107970
