No problem. I can't for the life of me remember where but there's an entire graveyard of those things with at least 2 dozen of them. It's got a couple of stationary live ones and three full guardians so tread carefully.

oh, hey - I have another random question. I also recently saw this massive snake/dragon thing flying in the sky. I'm pretty sure he was an enemy, but he never saw me so there was no scuffle. Am I right that he's an enemy or what?
Re: Zelda Breath of the Wild - Wii U vs. Switch
He's a thing. A thing you'll want to interact with. But he's not going to hunt you down and destroy you if you get too close to him.

He won't attack you, but if you get near him you might get hurt because he creates some sort of elemental affect when he's near (lightning or fire or similar).noiseredux wrote:oh, hey - I have another random question. Very very minor gameplay spoilers I guess? (not story related) -

There's also a good Guardian Parts farming spot at Ash Swamp, which is the area just before the bridge that leads to Kakariko village. There are only a couple active stationary Guardians there, so that might be a good place to start to stock up and practice parrying (since those suckers won't move around on you).

Re: Zelda Breath of the Wild - Wii U vs. Switch
didn't get too much time to play over the weekend, but I did manage to kill a couple stationary guardians which made me feel like a total boss. I took on a bigger guardian, but he destroyed my shield before I could finish him off. :\
Speaking of - I need to find a good shield. I'm almost considering buying a Princess Zelda Amiibo just for that purpose. But I don't really wanna.
Oh, and I've got two of the "+" upgrades from the lab. Unfortunately not Stasis+ yet - still need two more Ancient Cores.
My Switch says I've put in 15 hrs now, and I'm still having these moments of "OMG this game is brilliant!" Stealing an enemy's skeleton horse was one of the more recent ones.

If you're feeling ballsy/daring, enter hyrule castle from the back. There's a cave system there that leads to a big fight with the best shield of the game, and once you unlock it you can get it outside of that area for a price from a merchant.

yeah I really don't think I'm prepared for that. I still only have four hearts, and I'm still getting beat up by those "feats of strength" shrine mini-boss fights.

In doing the Master Trials I have come to a realization that I can't shield parry guardian beams for my life.
That shit is hard.
