Re: Limited Run
I can only speak for myself, but I respect them more because they tell us what the cause of the delay is - Sony's production. I want to know why my stuff is delayed. Sony is putting AAA games on priority, and that's fine because it makes sense; Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty are going to make Sony a whole heck of a lot more money than Limited Run Games will. I appreciate being given a reason for the delay instead of just a simple notification that the delay is a thing.

Re: Limited Run
Um, that's great and all, but why are you posting that in the Limited Run thread? That's like posting about the Xbox One in the Switch thread.

Agreed. I like knowing why a particular thing is delayed, rather than a nebulous statement that doesn't really tell me much. I mean, there's certainly a limit to how much information can and should be conveyed, but I appreciate the candor.ElkinFencer10 wrote:I can only speak for myself, but I respect them more because they tell us what the cause of the delay is - Sony's production. By simply saying productions delay due to order backlog at the manufacturer would work fine. The point is leave other names out, it gives a better impression. We all know Sony makes the games, so when you say production issues, we know where it is at.
Different opinions though, not belittling anyone for theirs.
Guys I hope you come through whatever is happening, you matter in the world of physical games. Keep it up. Also welcome to the forum, hope you stick around.

Also it is kind of relevant to post here as it is a short run games. Even Limited Run supports others who do "limited runs"!

Re: Limited Run
Lol yeah, there are other posts in the thread well before me and before whatever BS drama is going on. about other limited runs from other places. Should just be an all encompassing thread. Also, I noticed this place doesn't like new threads so no point in making another. be really redundant anyway because then people would complain we have a Limited Run thread.wclem wrote:Let us know how it is.Segata wrote:This just arrived a couple minutes ago.

And just like that, the gods parted the clouds, reached down, and spoke their word to the tiny denizens of Planet RacketBoy!

Perhaps you do, because of your experience to things like this, but I would never guess that. I appreciate as much information as possible from a company. Transparency is important, and it makes me feel much more reassured when they give a specific reason that makes sense rather than some nebulous claim of "delays." "Delays" could mean anything from the factories being on strike to them not having enough money and hoping they don't get shut down. Letting in a normal consumer like myself into how this stuff actually gets made in a way that makes simple sense is something I appreciatewclem wrote:ElkinFencer10 wrote:I can only speak for myself, but I respect them more because they tell us what the cause of the delay is - Sony's production. It's better to risk stating the obvious than to risk omitting information that might not be known.

Re: Limited Run
I missed out on Wonder Boy. It's a good thing I'm not a collector of these games. The one I really want is Y's and I'm worried I won't get that one either. I'm glad folks were able to get a copy though.
