I'm terrible at names. I checked a map:

It's the Mirro Shaz shrine.

There is no shame in not remembering any of the names of any BotW shrines.

But honestly, it's not really a bad shrine. The ones that are legitimately rage inducing are the ones involving motion controls and the top tier fight shrines (and the latter only if you go to them too early and have shit weapons).

so here's the beauty of this game. I spent some time last night getting super frustrated. I'd find a shrine and get annoyed with it; I'd go another direction and find that I was just getting destroyed by enemies... and then I found myself on a quest to Zora's Domain. And suddenly I was on track and making some kind of progress and cool stuff was happening.

I'd like to reiterate that I don't think this is a perfect game. And I only keep saying that because it was one of those rare games that actually received perfect scores, y'know?

For me personally, there's some very frustrating things in Breath Of The Wild. I honestly think that most of the shrines I encounter I dislike. I feel like I'd have probably been happier with more traditional dungeons really. And again, me personally - I'm not a huge fan of hunting/gathering/crafting/etc in games like this. Nor am I big fan of weapons constantly breaking. And so on.

BUT, having said all that I feel like the highs in this game are just so high that I'm able put up with a lot of things that would normally drive me away from such a game. For all my complaints, I'm quickly finding that I'd rank this up there with my top tier Zelda games honestly.

It is far from perfect, but like you said, it does things right so well that when it misses you give it a mulligan.

I am very interested to see how the next level of action adventure rpgs turn out. A love child between BOTW and Horizon Zero Dawn would probably be the best game ever.

That stretch of road on the way to Zora's Domain is by far the best place to get normal arrows from enemies. Almost all the lizard people drop them.

Last night I got the Master Sword while in Master Mode. Tonight I am probably going to get wrecked in the Trial of the Sword. I think I can probably manage the first and second trials. The final trials are going to be tough.

bmoc's Trial of the Sword protip:
While you can't take your gear into the Trial of the Sword, you can take temporary hearts! Just be sure to eat the food before starting the trial. If you have 5x Big Hearty Radishes, you can cook them all at once for 20+ temporary hearts.

Yeah that pro tip I accidentally found out. I don't mean to steal your thunder however  but:
The same goes for stamina and status effects like increased defense.

Protip on your protip:
Temporary hearts can't get over the maximum hearts, so if you go for a full stamina wheel then you can only get two temporary hearts after doing 120 shrines. At that point the main benefit of temporary heart food is it's a cheap full heal.

alright so I got to the part of the Zora/beasts quest where I need to collect 20 of those shock arrows or whatever. But the dude guarding them is a jerk and just destroys me in one shot. I try to sneak around but he senses me so easily. Soooo I decided to go off and work on hunting/gathering so I can raise enough rupies to afford a full stealth outfit. I have the pants so far.

Yeah, the purpose of that encounter is to stealth around. On every tree there are 2-3 shock arrows. If you can get past him there is a cache. He is absolutely NOT meant to be engaged early on.
