Turn-based 360 Games
does anyone know of any RPGs for the 360 that have a turnbased battle system like Final Fantasy?

culdcept saga is kina turn based, its a mix between monopoly, magic the gathering, and final fantasy, most of the square games i think are turn based too, im not 100 percent sure on that though

Blue Dragon is FFX style turn based, Lost Odyssey is FF1 style turn based, and Eternal Sonata is an action turn based. Essentially, when your turn comes up you have a certain amount of real-time to do what you want, then it's the next person's turn.

Star Ocean games are definitely far, far, far from a traditional turn based battle system.Snickerd00dle wrote:star ocean just came out as well, is that turn based?

Unfortunately, no one's made an ATB RPG for the 360 (as far as I know).Dylan57 wrote:i am a big fan of the style used in 8 and 9
As for Star Ocean, as mentioned, it's not turn based at all. Its battle system is very similar to the Tales battle system, though Tales is a bit more intricate in its usage of combos. But at the gross level they both are the completely active battle systems.
