Other than just being new to the series and stuff aggressive out of the box on the very first game, even it doesn't compare to that -- yes this game anything is a major threat. If you dare take the 'Zelda approach' to combat you're dead in moments. One blow may finish you, crippling would be lucky. You really start out as a toddler in the game.
I'm tempted to restart the thing to be honest about it. I kind of miss using my Switch as I've had no new games in awhile outside of Lego City which I still plug away at for fun, and well USF2 which is just a screw around title as is MK8 which I can't take seriously either.
Fate/Extella I did want, but...I'm not into 'warriors' games and Cave Story looks fine, but it's a re-run on a 3DS game I have I could swap out but haven't. ARMs I'd only play offline so I don't see it, same with Splatoon 2 for full price.
RIME delayed until...? Too long I'll just GoG it since it already hits a matching to amazon 20% off discount in their sales. Axiom Verge, Redout, Battlechasers, Skyrim, Nights of Azure, Touhuo Kabuto...all sometime later and if (for the anime looking stuff) is worth it.
The thing is, I wonder how it would impact me scrapping the save and going at it once more especially so soon. I almost wish I could figure out the whole CEMU+WiiU release queue up and usage because then I wouldn't nuke my save. I don't run torrent software, and even if I did it seems like the dumps are encrypted or stored in a way CEMU dislikes.

well this is a start!noiseredux wrote:I saw that, Tanooki. I'm rather hopeful it means Resident Evil stuff on Switch personally.

Well that's something. RER returns to Nintendo, and the sequel that Nintendo owners got hosed out of comes home better late than never. Curious how it will sell. If it were just a console game I'd imagine slim other than with RE nuts, but the odd nature of the Switch could make it pretty enticing to more people.
I found that one on the 3DS pretty interesting and didn't really make me hate it like most RE games by its old design so I could see buying that. I wonder if both will be on the same card or if you buy them individually.

By contrast, I just finished my second Divine Beast yesterday (whoot!), and I've found those boss battles to feel much easier than some of the overworld grunts (Damn Moblins.)noiseredux wrote:BTW, I don't remember another Zelda game where just basic enemies you encounter feel like such a threat. This game totally feels *hard* at times, and I'm not talking about some of those bullshit shrine puzzles.![]()

oh, you just reminded me - I totally f'ing rage-quitted a shrine last night. So there's one shrine where when you first walk in there's a long drop, and across from you is a conveyor belt with one of those little balls on it. I quickly figured out to throw a bomb on it to knock the ball into the little dish thing to open the door. Fine.
The next room is similar. Long drop with a conveyor belt and ball, except it also has TWO of those Guardian dudes riding on it. I can barely get a spare second to throw a ball w/o one of guardians shooting me, and when I am able to get a throw in it seems like I can't throw the bomb far enough to get to the conveyor belt.
Add to all this that because I was trying to be hasty I kept walking off the side into the pit and dying. Ugh.

Oh I know which one you are talking about..... muahahahahaha. Definitely need to take a second and rethink it all... take a breather and come back to it with fresh eyes.noiseredux wrote:oh, you just reminded me - I totally f'ing rage-quitted a shrine last night. Haha I know the one too! That one made my wife rage quit as well and then get really mad at me when I said I did it really easily... Agree with Bogus on this one. Take a step back and rethink it.BogusMeatFactory wrote:Oh I know which one you are talking about..... muahahahahaha. Okay... I'm hearing "stop trying to throw bombs at the conveyor belt thing."
Re: Zelda Breath of the Wild - Wii U vs. Switch
Where the hell is this shrine? It doesn't sound familiar, and from the sound of it I need to know where it is so I can avoid it
