Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
I just need Mega Man Battle Network 2 and I'll have that entire set of games... for whatever reason.
You seem skeptical about this. I was able to dig up an email that an employee wrote to the board of directors...Segata wrote:They claim employees asked to.
Dear GameStop,
Although it is one of the 4 biggest holidays in the United States, I can think of nothing I would like to do more on Thanksgiving Day than work at one of your fabulous stores, with its glaring fluorescent lights and tacky B2G1 signage. Please, don't be like one of the countless other heartless American retailers and close your doors on this day. Please open your stores for Thanksgiving, and allow your loyal employees to work on this day. On top of having nothing better to do, you pay such fabulous wages that missing this one day out of the week severely hurts my income. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the holiday anyway, just knowing how empty and alone the store would be if it closed for one day. Who would actually enjoy a holiday off from work when we work for such an amazing company!?
Sincerely,
No One Ever
Thank goodness his one voice speaks over the thousands of them who hate it. What a relief they listened to the one dude. Next he might ask for less money an hour then everyone gets less!Sarge wrote:Aaaaactually, I know a guy that works at our GameStop that loves to work holidays. He doesn't have many friends or family, and likes making a bit more money.

Yep. I used to be a manager at GS during the early years of 7th gen. Did the launch for PS3,Wii,Halo 3 and the like. I quit due to such a BS company they are.wclem wrote:Think about it, most people fear losing their job. Been there at jobs, as most of us has sadly.
Just some months later a change of market strategy for this game. I had already picked up an extra CIB copy months ago and have been checking the Gamestop site for price drops. Upon searching Wii games, Rodea appeared to be a very good price at only $6.99!samsonlonghair on Wed Feb 08, 2017 wrote:I hadn't been into Gamestop since before Xmas. Y'all may recall my story about the overly aggressive sales tactics in December.
Well, I went back into Gamestop for the first time in a long time. I found Rodea Sky Soldier.
I struck up a conversation with the guy behind the counter. Dude wasn't pushy at all about signing me up for copies of game informer or pre-ordering anything. He said Rodea sold so poorly they couldn't sell a single new copy, so they marked all the new copies as used.
Sure enough, I got a brand new copy of Rodea including the WiiU version, the Wii version, reversible cover, and manuals for both (not that the manuals are anything to write home about) for $13. There was no cellophane, but the disks were brand spanking new - not a single hair, scratch, or fingerprint.
I would recommend you pick this game up now. The has collectability written all over it.
