Chinavasion's portable gameing rig.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

reminds me of those wizz things.... shit what were they called... I think racket had one. Anyway on to the stuff that makes sense:

kinda neat for those who are into emulation. I think if they kicked the price down a little it would start to compete a bit more with the psp/ds. At the price it is now, you might as well get a psp or ds and homebrew it. Still- gadgets. I love them.

Looks very interesting. I'd like to buy one immediatly, but how is the state of emulation? Are the Games running full speed especially SNES and GBA?

Apparently the SNES and genesis leaves something to be desired, though honestly I'd spend the extra little bit and get a psp, it's a much much better machine, and pretty trivial to get it to run non Sony code.

I'm looking forward to a good review. Maybe on youtube to see the potential of this tiny machine.

ah- that sucks to hear. I think this guy would be nice for someone who has kids that want to get into gaming though. It is something that I really wouldn't be heartbroken to see lost/damaged. Plus- the desire to steal something like this is pretty low, where as if a kid left a psp on the bus or something that shit would be gone. Also- running simpler nes games on it would be a better introduction than the psp ever would be to gaming.

Dingoo A320 is $85 shipped at dealextreme.

Here is some more info on it.

Also apparently it is now being sold by one of the same people behind Pandora and he claims to be working on emulation for it and trying to develop a "scene" for it.

One of the big draws over the PSP or DS is that it has much better video support and can play most formats without conversion.
