Re: How dangerous are downloads?
Yes I would download a car.
I would pirate the federal reserve if my printer could print gold. Piracy is an awesome hobby ARGGG.

Re: How dangerous are downloads?
I was working at Hollywood Video, many years ago, when a shady individual we had long since kept our eye on (for suspicion of previous theft) decided to - not so inconspicuously - steal a jacket full of DVDs. I immediately called the police, so the police asked me to come with them to spot the thief. I spotted him a few blocks away. One officer got out of the car and the one driving sped ahead to get to the other side of him. The guy took off running, only to be tackled - DVDs flying everywhere - several seconds later, with me watching in the back of the police car.IcKy99 wrote:HAHA those commericials are RIDICULOUS! i like the part where it shows the guy all shifty eyed, then he just steals a Dvd off the shelf like its a drug deal and the dvd case is stuffed with drugs

I can't wait for those 3D printers to become commercially available (for less than a bajillion $$). I mean, I don't want to use one, I just can't wait to see what FACT say about them. They'll probably shit the bed. Just like when photocopiers were supposed to bring about the apocalypse.
Piracy is so widely domestic over here it's nuts. There's people advertising modding/piracy services on the public notice board at work. Nobody even says anything. I'm the least likely one to complain like but the sheer balls the guy has to put that notice there and get away with it is pretty impressive in my eyes.
The Police have better things to do than arrest people for copyright infringement. I know a few coppers and I asked them about it, they just shrugged and said, "it's a civil matter between the copyrighter and the copyright infringer" and left it at that.

Dual cassette players, the VCR, and CD and DVD burners have caused companies that sell music and movies to go completely out of business.

Wow! Its not at all like that in my state. I keep the shit on the downlow. I only let my friends even see my copied collection. I certainly dont offer to do it for them for money.Niode wrote:I can't wait for those 3D printers to become commercially available (for less than a bajillion $$). Re: How dangerous are downloads?
I never pirate. Ever.
Just thought I'd put that out there.
If I did I know I wouldn't go spreading that news around to all and sundry.
