Check out Player's Choice in North Myrtle Beach if you get the chance. In addition to being a retro game store, they have a pretty respectable arcade too. https://www.playerschoicenmb.com/

:D I finished collecting the Wild Arms series yesterday. Speaking of pricey PS2 titles, I've been putting off getting Alter Code F because of the price. Since it was the last one I needed, I caved in when I found it for $60 shipped.

Nice! I've finished WA2-5, and I need to finish Alter Code F one of these days. I also need the first game complete, I have it disc-only.

I'm sad some of the PS2 ones have gotten real pricey.

Nice collection, I've got the first three games. Unfortunately I'm missing the manuals for the first two. I'd like to buy alter code f if the price ever comes down. Anyways, underrated game series and I smiled to see it get some love.

Well, poop. Looks like I'm going to have to have my gallbladder removed. :(

That's OK. You didn't need it for anything important, anyway.

On a more serious note, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that the procedure will go smoothly and you recover swiftly to good health.

Sorry to hear Sarge. Is there any complications to having it? Like maybe you'll feel better without it?

My recovery is going well but I'm still pretty exhausted. Still got a few days on the antibiotics. I also filed for FMLA to get this week off but unfortunately it doesn't get approved until later and paperwork is done (and trust me I wanted to be a month ahead of this stuff, but they say you usually get the surgery done and recover before it's even approved. wtf?) ... so the annoying thing is since it's pending I have to call into work every day this week. Which means I have to worry about getting up before my shift starts. Blah, what a stupid system. I filed through Cigna.

Well, it's not bothering me a ton right now, but apparently there are some polyps that are growing. The concern there is if they're cancerous, so they usually pull out the gallbladder just in case.

Diet may or may not change afterwards. A pretty sizable number of people can't handle a lot of fatty foods after. I honestly can't already, so I don't know how much that might change. I've heard some people just keep right on truckin'. My Mom didn't, however, so I don't really have my hopes up in that regard.

On the plus side, any diet changes you have to make may result in a healthier you!

Yeah, my cousin couldn't handle any kind of fast food or fried foods after having hers removed. Like Maru said, might end up being a silver lining if it forces you to improve your diet.

I have health issues that put me at a higher risk of getting cancer in my gallbladder as well but so far so good on the yearly ultrasounds.
