Yep. Still not available in this country. Capcom should kick Madcatz ass because there's a lot of people holding out on buying this game until they can buy a proper pad to play it with.
I know at least 5 people who have said that they won't buy SFIV until they can play it with a decent a pad. I'm the 6th person...
Anyone got the SF IV Fightpad yet?

Re: Anyone got the SF IV Fightpad yet?
The SF4 pads I've seen look very similar to the 15th Anniversary ones so I'm very skeptical. I have one of the old ones but the D-Pad is terrible, I used it for less than an hour and put it back in the box it arrived in, it's been there for over a year and probably not coming out until someone buys it from me.

Speaking of good pads for fighting games, i am curious how the NeoGeo pad performs

Never tried one of this or the original and kind of similar NeoGeo pad.
The most interesting feature of course is the mechanical joystick, from videos i have seen it's something like a combination of an analog stick with an arcade joystick.

Had the game with the 6 button pad...game was decent not all its been hyped to be by far in my opinion. Button layout wasnt bad, dpad was hit and miss. Just like someone else said if your finger slides to the wrong "edge" your moves will not be picked up. At that point you would be better off trying to beat the game by slaming the controller into the tv.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.
Re: Anyone got the SF IV Fightpad yet?
Was thinking about getting one even though I have a 360 as well. But I could use it for messing around on GGPO and some emulators and roms. Let me know how your's performs when you get it.Pullmyfinger wrote:Already did chief (Dunno why, I have a 360 but oh well)IcKy99 wrote:just order those saturn usb pads theyre great

Why this
or this
cost 69.99 GPB?
I understand individual merchants in amazon and/or "ebayers" to rise the price of things that are rare and high on demand but these two fightpads i posted supposedly are in stock by amazon and not by individuals.

yes MAME is a good thing to use em on, i use mameui32 theres no delay on the controls at all, i just hate taking the time to map the buttons, and neo geo fighters games feel awkward since theres no real good way to map the 4 buttons (at least to me)Note wrote:Was thinking about getting one even though I have a 360 as well. I highly recommend to use Final Burn Alpha and/or Kawaks for fighting games if you don't already. Way easier to map the buttons.IcKy99 wrote: yes MAME is a good thing to use em on, i use mameui32 theres no delay on the controls at all, i just hate taking the time to map the buttons, and neo geo fighters games feel awkward since theres no real good way to map the 4 buttons (at least to me)
