From fangamer what I've seen when they do them, they are. Awhile back they had done Retro City Rampage for the PS4 and it had a run of like 4000 copies and I bagged one of them back then. Once people realized they were limited they vanished really fast -- and many hit ebay due to scalping.

If I thought I'd enjoy the game but I loathe bullet hell shooter mechanics (which seems asinine for RPG combat to me) I'd buy the collectors one as I think my daughter would love that locket.

Dunno for sure but think it might be as I don't imagine Fangamer can sell it very long. Also they are making you pay up front.

I know it's silly to buy a game without knowing much. I love Earthbound and hear it compared to that but some say it's a shmup so kinda confused. What is this game really? I don't want to go to YouTube in case spoilers.

It's an RPG a bit like Earthbound.

The shmup stuff - During battle, when enemies attack, a little box appears at the bottom of the screen with a heart in it that represents you. Then their attacks come in waves like a bullet hell shooter and you have to move the little heart around to avoid them so you don't take damage.

They are starting to ship them. They said it would take til the end of October to ship them all. I'm excited! I love Earthbound, I love Shmups! Bring it on!

Any Europeans or Brits still waiting on theirs? Mine was dispatched from the US on 2nd Oct and the tracking information has not been updated since the 4th Oct (still in the US). Just wondering if that's normal and in line with other Brits or Europeans really.

I'm from the UK. Also, it seems to think my package will be going via Germany bizarrely.

Cheers for the reply. I'm also getting the standard edition. Seems I'm a week or so ahead of you. I'll let you know if my tracking information updates and/or when I receive my copy. My main concern is that the tracking information has just just gone dead as of the 4th. Might be normal though and it might update once it reaches Europe. Not sure how long this usually takes with DHL International, but there can often be delays with customs I suppose.
