Limited Run

I picked up my first Limited Run game today, ordered Broken Age for PS4. It's sold out now but did anyone else get it? Totally unlikely but does anyone have an extra copy of either OddWorld game, especially Stranger's Wrath, they'd be willing to part with?

I wish these guys would have made some Wii U games, Fatal Frame in particular, though maybe they'll make some Switch games as time moves on.

I think they said that the reason they do Sony consoles is that Sony are the company that allow them to do the smallest print runs. They have to sell a lot more Nintendo games.

I think they're underestimating Nintendo fans myself. They'd sell. I guess it depends just how many they need to order though, and how much the initial outlay would be.

I also ordered my first Limited Run game today, but I went for Deemo. I love me some rhythm games.

If anyone ever spots Shantae: Risky's Revenge for a reasonable price, let me know. I missed out on that one, and it's the only way to get a physical copy of that game afaik.

Yeah, the only other Shantae games that are physical is the original (obviously) and Half-Genie Hero, though LRG did Pirate's Curse along with Risky's Revenge.

Pirate's Curse has a physical port on 3DS, so there's an option outside of Limited Run games. Risky's Revenge has only been given a physical release as a Limited Run title.

Dunno if it still it but the game was free on Steam and GoG last friday.

No one buys Limited Run's stuff because it's affordable; all of their games are cheaper digitally. Folks buy them because they want physical copies.

Do you have a decent PC, jmbarnes? If you do, you can always try finding the physical PC copy (with soundtrack) through Gamestop. It doesn't look like it's available online anymore, but you might luck out and find one available close by.

I don't have a computer that I can play games on. It's basically only good for some office stuff and internet exploration.

I don't want a huge LRG collection but Jotun looked great. I'll probably just grab it on Wii U now. If anyone knows where I can find a decently priced Stranger's Wrath please let me know.
