:) Might have found a job for finishing out the summer. But, its hourly pay and very simple work. The ad says they expect/want six hours, but all I'll be doing is cleaning pens and bird cages and such, so unless this place just has a very large amount of animals I don't see that taking six hours. Really hard to tell.

:? Housing is finally finalized, but move in is going to be wonky unless I get lucky and one of the people living there moves out early. Also looks like I won't have particularly social roommates again, but I'm used to it at this point.

:? Finally figured out why I've kinda been losing my mind for the past 3 or so weeks. I think I need new medication for ADHD/anxiety, because I only realized the other day that it's more or less like I haven't even been on them (even though I have been) for the past few months, which is why I've been losing my mind. I'm still like at least a month away from any new kind of meds, but at least I have a tiny step in the right direction Xp

How about diet and exercise? That can go a long way and help out too.

Speaking to myself here too... been slacking on the yoga. Need to get back at it!

You are not alone, there are others on here mentioning taking meds for anxiety which to me is questionable. Get a second and even third opinion from different doctors. My two cents is if you can articulate and have a thought process, you should be able to reason and control emotions. Yes we all sometimes get angry or other extreme emotions, but that is who we are. No point to stress on it adding to the anxiety, just control it. Don't blame or depend on mind altering prescription medication, control your own destiny! The diet and exercise Xeogred mentioned a great step to refocus. Oh, and definitely get that 2nd-3rd professional opinion for the final decision and not from words such as mine on a forum site.

What? No, you're 100% flat wrong here CRT. You only want him to get a second or third opinion so he finds a doctor who meets up with your incredibly wrong world view. You are not licensed in any way, nor have you done any real research into brain chemistry and mental disorders. Medication for mental issues should not be demonized any more than medication for physical issues.

No reason for judgement, you do not know my professional background. No, the 2nd and 3rd opinion to ensure taking the correct anxiety control medication or if any needed to help in the critical decision, not what I think is right. I did state follow the doctor and not words on a forum.

That is your 100% horribly biased and flat our wrong opinion, and I'll judge it just like I'd judge it if you started claiming the earth was only 6000 years old. I was able to come to the conclusion that you're not a mental health professional thanks to your statements.

Ticked - It's hot as hell in the place I work during the summer, and it's 12 hour shifts.

 Luckily, it's only 3 days a week.

Advising people not to take medications prescribed by a medical professional is not only ridiculous but horribly unethical. Side effects are a thing, but we have mutliple drugs to treat the same disorders; most folks will react well to one of them.
