Old School Pirate Games?

You should immediately track down a copy of Sid Meier's Pirates! I'm sure that your computer will run it.

didn't Sid Meier come out with pirates! for the genesis as well? i have the one for the psp, and i must say, it is ridiculously addictive.

Pirates! Gold is the sequel to the original Pirates!. Pirates! Gold was available on the Genesis, and the original Pirates! was available on the NES. I loved both of them on consoles, but I can't offer a comparison with the PC versions.

Not really a pirate game, but Donkey Kong Country 2 has a massive pirate theme to it, if that counts.
