 Preordered Valkyria Revolution from Amazon and they shipped it in a padded envelope. Valkyria Revolution comes with an outer cardboard box along with some extras. Naturally it is crushed all to hell.

What do you guys do when this happens to you? If I were to return it to Amazon, do customer service agents have the ability to request specific packaging? I doubt it. I am thinking about driving to Gamestop later and getting a pristine copy and get refunded from Amazon. Hate to lose out on the Prime savings though.

I'd show you the pictures of when Amazon shipped me New Super Luigi in just a padded envelope, but it's on Photobucket. :x

Good question if you can bitch and get them to ship it in a box. I'd be interested to know this myself. When I exchanged New Super Luigi, I just gave them a statement that I will no longer order such items from them until they start shipping them in boxes.

My local Gamestop had one copy left so I drove over and got it. It wasn't in perfect condition but it was waaaaaay better than the Amazon copy. I also did not want the hassle of potentially getting another jacked up copy from Amazon. I figured it was worth a few extra bucks for piece of mind.

ticked off...............

i am selling my Neo Geo CD's and CDZ's on ebay and i got a PM from a guy asking for a discount. I should say i have already listed my games at discounted prices compared to overseas sellers , anyway i gave him a $60 discount and free shipping for 4 games. So he was saving at least $100 and free postage. I never got a thank you for the discount and i was curious where i was to ship these games to so i copy and pasted his address in google maps and he lives in a 2 storey mansion.

he also was interested in my other games but said he doesn't have more money this month , so i believe he may be back for more.

i think he will have the cheek to ask for another discount , thing is Neo Geo is a niche market and may not get anymore buyers although i am getting views from others. Should i give no discount next time , a small discount or none at all ?

opinions ? suggestions ?

I probably wouldn't even give him one in the first place.
