Trying to build a PSP library. Suggestions?

Post by StuntDouble »

Just got a PSP a couple months ago, and I'm trying to build up a games library.

I downloaded a few games from the Playstation store:
Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
Syphon Filter
Medievil
Street Fighter Alpha
Flow
Castlevania: SOTN

I also own a copy of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Final Fantasy Tactics:War of the Lions.

I don't really have a preference as far as game type. I enjoy the Syphon Filter games, and I've started enjoying the FFT, now that I have an idea of what I'm doing. So, any suggestions as to which games I should pick up for the PSP?

Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles (!!!!)
Crush
Daxter
Disgaea - Afternoon of Darkness (never played this, but its a remake of the ps2 game, which i great)
FF7 Crisis Core
God of War Chains of Olympus
Lumines
Mega Man Powered up
Metal Gear SOlid Portable Ops
Power Stone Collection

Cool. Thanks for the suggestions. It looks like there are some newer games coming out that look pretty good as well.

Yggdra Union is a really nice strategy title for the PSP that has a nice, unique battle system. The game puts much more emphasis on unit positioning, as you only get a single attack per turn. The trick is that your other units can join in on the attack based upon their positions. Throw in a few weapon triangles and you'll find a lot of jockying for advantages matchups.

If you don't mind a touch of moonspeak the Salamander and Parodius collections are a nice bundle of shmuppy goodness. Pretty much all of the menus are self explanatory, aside from one of the menus in one of the Parodius games, which has a fair amount of Japanese. A little trial and error will get you through it, though.
